In 12th of May the Social Integration State Agency (SIVA) participated in COFACE Familie Europe (Coface) and European Platform for Rehabilitation (EPR) organised internal Concept note "Families & Service providers to persons w/ disabilities: joint efforts under emergency situations", to share the experience acquired by SIVA specialists in collaborating with families of persons with disabilities during the spread of Covid-19 infection.
The aim of this meeting is to explore promising practices, challenges and how to overcome them together with possible synergies going forward.
During the Covid-19 pandemia SIVA specialists have started to work even more closely with the families of their clients, because the family members are the ones who can support the clients motivation and willingness to enter the society and labour market when the client is at home.
